eat, drink and be merry...

That's my brief summary of what had happened during the long weekend. It was kind of hectic for me and the rest of the pack. I ate and ate and ate.. boy, didnt I tell you I gained a good 5kgs and still gaining? Of course not, cause I havent been updating, les the story about my goal on weight gaining. Before I ramble on, I was about 40kg (skinny, I know), that was just last year and the goal for 2006 is to get 15kgs or 10kgs at the very least. Just 2 weeks after we greeted 2006, I gained 5kgs.. I can now beam happily though teeth would be clinched tight when putting on the old jeans.. I know, a change of wardrobe will soon be in order or is it time already? Tunggu.. bonus bulan March, shh..

Well, there was a feast on Saturday, well we actually had to accompany the groom who's my cousin. Next day, Sunday was the reception at the groom's. It was grand, at least the food was.. I'm beginning to sound more like Garfield, am I? Hee.. We were like so merry-merry but before the day ended, we received a bad news. My grandad's younger brother had been released off his illness, he passed away peacefully in his sleep while everyone else was sleeping too. That's another excuse for makan-makan because after 'ziarah' we dropped by at Maktok's who gave us quite a feast.

On Monday we practically lepak at home.. Me? Lepak? Yes, lepak as in penat and cannot really lepak as in resting or vegging infront of the tele as the machine was hogged most of the time. If not for Disney Channel or Cartoon Network, it's the darn PS2 thingy.I surrendered and sleep was my only consolation. I woke up when one of the smaller boys called, announcing that they've decided to go swimming. Now, makan lagi, as we decided against the beach and pool but to go to the waterfall. We swam and eat, we did too.. Came Tuesday and there's another scheduled feast - my younger brother's engagement. We had lunch at Mama's where the troop (rombongan meminang) gathered. The chef was none other than my father's third brother. He's a reknown cook (within the big family lah) and it was a darn good feast. We ate again much later (thankfully) at the girl's house.

Here you go, I practically stuffed my face up during the last holiday. And did I drink??What do you think? Of course, it was damn too hot the weather not to be drinking a lot of water! For those who might be thinking drinking as in drinking the forbidden beverages - what are you thinking.. heheh!

Merry? Yes, there were days that we were very the merry.. but I strongly feel that it would be a lot merrier if our pay isnt rescheduled to Feb 07...huhuh!!
